Uncle Sam's E-snooping

It seems honest, law-abiding American citizens cannot even write about more than a century ago well known historical topics on the computer without Uncle Sam's electronic snooping going into high gear, and the snooping is practically overt. Too bad there is not a Supreme Court and a Congress that respect the 4th Amendment enough to let a totalitarian executive branch know that they can't just disregard the Constitution by reading citizens' private notes and e-mails without probable cause, except that the entire Constitution is only a guideline to today's incumbent politicians.
